DJing a 2012 Georgia Force Arena Football game with Vince "The Voice" Bailey.
As a child, I always loved music. I learned to play the saxophone at age 9 and was the saxophone section leader for my high school’s marching band. My older brother was a disc jockey, so I learned the craft from one of the old school's finest. My first official gig was a school dance in 1988. I think the pay was about $25 (LOL). In fact, I performed several gigs at such a low rate just to get experience. 1991 was the year I pushed myself out of my comfort zone and performed at a wedding reception. Talk about being afraid……weddings and receptions are the most difficult events to do. In the 90's, I performed at several night clubs in the Atlanta area. In 1998, I invested in sound equipment so that I could pull away from the club scene and become a full time mobile DJ. Since then, I have done tons of school dances, birthday parties for all ages, corporate functions, weddings, receptions, and sporting events. I have worked with major networks such as Peachtree TV, doing the Screen on the Green movie events as the pre movie DJ. As a way to show my support to the many charities in metro Atlanta, I have discounted or donated my services on many occassions to help their foundations.
Can DJ Webb perform for VIPs or celebrities? YES...many of my clients are the "who’s who" of Atlanta. It doesn’t matter how small or large your event is, I can entertain your guests per your needs. The smallest group I have performed for was 20 guests, and the largest was 10,000, which was at Centennial Park with Peachtree TV (Screen On The Green).
Can DJ Webb travel outside of the Atlanta area? YES...I am a mobile DJ and can travel anywhere the client's budget permits. As a full time DJ, this allows my schedule to be very flexible so that I can work around the client's schedule.
Can DJ Webb spin and mix music videos live for my event? YES...I invested in the latest video play back software and projectors so that I can display music videos via large TV monitors or HD video projectors. This new addition to the music world is titled VDJ (video disc jockey). I also have a karaoke setup for the karaoke parties.
